Green Bins – The Conservatives are proposing to extend the green bin service across the rest of Poole but will charge for the collection service.
This will affect all existing green bin users as well as the new and is expected to rake in an extra £1.34 million. Do let us know your views.

Playbuilder – Playbuilder money is safe but there is only enough for 6 out of the remaining 11 play areas. It has still to be decided which ones will be upgraded.

Bus Service update – New Bus Shelter – further to the last Focus, as well as improved timetable information, the Council has just this month installed a new bus shelter on Runnymede Avenue.

Income Tax – 2,470 additional Poole residents will be lifted out of income tax altogether while a further 62,000 will pay £200 less from April this year as a result of Lib Dem policies.

The Pupil Premium – The Pupil Premium, a Flag ship Liberal Democrat policy, could bring an extra £880,000 to Poole Schools.

Pensions – Over the next few years the basic pension is set to rise from £97.65 to £140. Aswell as this, future pension increases will be by the highest out of earnings, prices or 2.5% thanks to the Lib Dems!
